Just want to say i massive thankyou to Toby Rzepka, he has provided the photos here (for those of you that know me, i am still as bad at remembering to take photos, where were you Stefka!) and has been the silent partner in this blog. The two of us, with a little help from our friends made this structure in 8 days. It was a busy week.
Hope you like the much promised pictures.
jonny out.

The veiw from the lower floor, looking out over Xillitla and on to the mountains beyond. We were so lucky to get such a location, i may build Treehouses for the next 40 years and not get another spot so nice, real lucky.

I think this picture captures it better than any other, you get a sense of the size of it and also some of the detailing. The Money Shot.

Upstairs or Downstairs, Sir?

Taken from the top of the water fall, the Casa de las Nubes in all its glory.

This is the veiw down from the second floor, its quite high. there is a person in red on the rock in the middle of the picture, this is where the previous shot was taken.

This is the lower floor by day complete with Tobys exellent benches. Can you imagine a finer place to drink Rum? The wall to the right of the picure looks down to the top of the waterfall many meters below. It was not untill we slept there that we noticed that you can actually here the water all the time, we were working so hard we never noticed

Here is a night shot of the lower floor lit by candles. I like this one.

Finally the Pictures!

Here is the Structure seen from underneath, it gives some idea of the scale of it, it towers above. You can clearly see the 'Rum Shack Chic' look we were going for to full afect!
